ABOUT MYSELF
Glendale has been my home since 1993. Citizenship is sacred to me, and to my family.
I am a proud parent of three amazing boys: Ulysses (16), Nicholas (15), and Jayden (9). My husband, Ignacio Encinas, and I will have been married for 20 years this coming
September.
I have a special love for animals, and care for an alpaca, chickens, goats, a pig, a miniature pony, a tortoise, two dogs, and a Highlander bull. I leave most reptiles to my sons, who operate an educational reptile museum for kids.
I have been called a “serial entrepreneur” because of my love of launching small businesses that enhance a community’s economy. I have a genuine passion for serving others, and giving back at every opportunity that presents itself. I donate time, resources, and money to further a cause I believe is important.
My businesses were created with the intent of providing excellent service and quality. I am certain that this approach has allowed me to succeed.
I believe in working hard, and raising my sons with the same high values that I was brought up with. I also believe that respect, hard work, and a strong sense of community can return a neighborhood to being one where we know our neighbors and aren’t afraid to knock on somebody’s door.
WORK PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
In 2004 , Goodies Glass Inc. was established. our auto glass company now serves many commercial fleet carriers, and is on all insurance preferred auto glass companies lists.
In 2009 , Cactus State Insurance was created. Our Avondale, Arizona location insurance broker carries more than 20 difference insurance companies.
In 2017 , Cactus State Insurance opened a second location in Buckeye, Arizona.
In 2020 , Cactus State Insurance opened its third location in Glendale, Arizona.
In 2021 , The Pink Door Tea House opened in Glendale, Arizona a historic establishment (Kimberly Ann’s Tea House) was closing due to the pandemic, and we were able to save it and keep it going.
In 2021 , Lizards For Kids and More was opened. A private investor backed my three boys and their dream of operating a lizard museum. They offer 30-minute tours and offer hands-on instruction about how to handle and care for reptiles.
I speak both Spanish and English, which has proven to be very helpful in our local community.
